Friends & Folks

The Camp is a collaborative effort.  There are a lot of folks who keep the gears of this machine rust-free (no small feat here in Belize.) You’ll get to know many of these folks when you come to stay here. Others you might cross paths with on a river or flat in your fishing travels.

Jeff SpiegelThe founder of Cayo Frances Farm & Fly. His vision has brought countless guests and connected people around the world. While he’s off to his next adventure at Rocky Point Permit Camp, he continues to find the time and put forth the effort to keep an eye out for all things at The Camp

Andress Lanza: Andress keeps this place on an even keel. Listen to whatever he might offer in terms of advice about the camp home waters.  You’d also be wise to not bet $ with him if playing dice or darts after dinner.

Rebecca Coutant: From her San Pedro Scoop website, Rebecca, has provided followers with endless knowledge of all things in and around Ambergris Caye.

Cooper Beckett: While operating No Name Lodge, Cooper has provided countless hours of training and backend support to our new ownership team.

Over the years numerous folks have worked selflessly to capture and depict what is unique and special about the camp.  We’re forever indebted to their creative efforts.
